Functionality

The e-Gility⁺ philosophy is that a company should not have to change their internal processes to use a piece of software; rather the software should wrap around current processes and add value. The e-Gility⁺ GRC Solution and its Modules is an On-Demand, Internet based application that was built from the ground up with the sole purpose of simplifying the complexity of compliance.

The e-Gility⁺ Modules provide the following components:

  The e-Gility⁺ Modules enable the creation, management and versioning of any documentation in the system. Every document maintains full versioning of any change made to the document to ensure accountability. The e-Gility⁺ Modules provide customizable templates for all necessary documentation, whether for a particular compliance program or shared across multiple programs. This enables clients to standardize the documentation and ensure that all users adhere to the required content and data types. Ongoing document management utilizes user-based roles and rights to ensure that only the authorized users can view or edit the appropriate documents.

  Audit managers can scope out and determine the testing for the year. You can setup different testing intervals, testing frequencies and assign auditors to their respective tests. Throughout the year, ad-hoc tests can also be created to mitigate any potential gaps to ensure controls are operating as expected. E-mail notification can be sent to auditors to notify them of newly assigned tests, as well as tests that will soon be overdue.

  The e-Gility⁺  Modules enable users to perform audits on specific controls assigned to them for testing based on date intervals and audit frequencies. All work papers and test evidence are entered directly into the system, which supports rich text, including tables and cut and paste functionality. In addition, testers can upload and link backup documentation, such as scanned documents, system logs, or any ancillary electronic file to the test.

  The Modules provide you with the option of utilizing peer-to-peer or management review of audits to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  The e-Gility⁺ Self-Assessments component enables auditors to gather critical information directly from the business users prior to or in conjunction with your testing. In addition, you can schedule self-assessments throughout the year to proactively monitor processes and controls enterprise wide.
  The e-Gility⁺ Self-Assessments component is extremely intuitive and flexible allowing you to quickly build and distribute any type of survey. Managers can build their own questions or customize them from their existing templates. All self-assessments are taken online, and the results are instantly available to managers for analysis at an aggregate level, or it can be drilled-down to individual assessments.

  The e-Gility⁺ Modules furnishes functionality to mitigate any control that is deficient and requires remediation. While conducting the control test, specific tasks for remediation or control improvement can easily be recorded. These remediation activities can be sent to specific users for action and their progress can be monitored via the system. All tasks are sent to project members via the system and each user is empowered to update their task status which updates the remediation plan in real-time.

  Utilize e-Gility⁺'s Project Management functionality to manage corporate wide or small group projects. Project plans and tasks are distributed through the system and allow Team members to update their progress directly into the system. Project managers can view project information in real-time via Gantt charts, dashboards and reports.

  The e-Gility⁺ Modules provide customizable dashboards that enable each user to quickly view and analyze the pulse points that are most important to their particular role and function. Dashboards can provide information in a tabular format or in an array of charts and graphs. Hot links within the dashboard enables users to quickly drill-down into information.

  The e-Gility⁺ Modules provide a highly intuitive reporting engine that enables you to create or modify reports in a matter of minutes which can contain any data element within the system. Newly created reports can be put into a standard pool of reports that can then be assigned to appropriate users.
  e-Gility⁺'s Reporting Engine eliminates the costly and time intensive effort of gathering data and preparing reports. Reports are generated at a click of a button in Microsoft® Word™ or Excel® and can be viewed in your browser or downloaded to your computer for further analysis.

  Customizable alerts are generated from the e-Gility⁺ Modules to notify users and management to upcoming events or information that requires attention.
• Workflow: [view more]
  The e-Gility⁺ Modules provide built in workflow that eliminates the administrative tasks associated with documentation, auditing, reviews and sign-off. Workflows are customizable and multi-leveled.
• File Sharing: [view more]
  The e-Gility⁺ Modules enable users to upload any electronic file, such as flowcharts or system logs, into the system. File rights, such as read, write and delete, can be controled at the file or folder level for individual users or groups. The system also provides check-in/check-out functionality to eliminate users overwriting each others' information.
